Sunset
Sunset is a selection of verses that share the feelings that a beautiful Tucson, Arizona sunrise or sunset can arouse.
The sunrise excites one’s essence like the first breaths of a newborn fawn, and the sunset tends to make one reflect on the day’s accomplishments. That contemplation can yield sadness or optimism.
Most of the photographs were taken in the author’s back yard and all of the poems are the author’s creation.
The following quatrain is an example of the poems within:
Behold the sky as clouds display
the entrails of a dying day.
The aura flow from rose to gray
augurs to all there’s no replay.
